Physical Computing Kits
Current research suggests that physical computing is an important tool to engage learners and a strategy to develop their understanding in more creative ways.
Please note all Crumble Kits have been allocated for this term, there are limited kits free from May half-term, so please contact us to check availability.
We have Crumbles Kits available for KS2, Micro:bit trays and Raspberry Pi Picos for KS4. The kits can be loaned out for a 6 week period for free. Please email us at email@example.com for more information on how to borrow the kits, the loan form must be completed and sent in advance to secure a kit.
Crumble Kits contain class sets of 17 Crumbles and all the peripherals needed to complete the Year 5 - Programming A – Selection in physical computing unit from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
Micro:bit trays contain class sets of 17 micro:bits and all the peripherals needed to complete the Year 6 – Programming B – Sensing and Year 9 – Physical Computing units from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
Raspberry Pi Pico trays contain class sets of 10 Raspberry Pi Picos and all the peripherals needed to complete the KS4 – Physical computing project unit from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
