Lincolnshire SCITT

About us

The Lincolnshire SCITT is an partnership of schools across Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties to deliver a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme.  The legal entity of the SCITT is The Priory Federation of Academies Trust and as a SCITT are proud to support a range of CPD provision to support both our ITT trainees and our school-based staff in our partner schools.  Please take a look around the news area of the website for more information.

Trainees on our programme are based in a school environment in day one working alongside experience and practicing teachers.  Upon successful completion of the course and at the end of the one year postgraduate programme, trainees will receive Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from the University of Lincoln.

Science Learning Partnership:

The Priory Federation of Academies Trust Professional Development Team coordinates and manages the Lincolnshire Science Learning Partnership (SLP), which provides quality, subject-specific continuous professional development (CPD) for primary and secondary schools in the Greater Lincolnshire area. It is a part of a network of SLPs and other support for schools that is managed by STEM Learning. For further details, please take a look at our SLP page.

 

Computing Hub:

The Priory Federation of Academies Trust Professional Development Team, coordinates and manages the Lincolnshire Computing Hub, accredited by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE).  Working with the University of Lincoln, subject matters experts (SMEs) and local Computing at Schools (CAS) communities among others, we offer a range of courses for primary and secondary teachers across all key stages, regardless of their level of computing knowledge.
