Audience: School leaders and other staff with responsibilities for managing change within school and those who aspire to lead school change in the future.
Intent: To enable practitioners to understand and undertake the professional practice of implementation - to know and enact the steps necessary to effectively manage change. Implementation is an explicit process not an event and such requires execution in stages.
Implementation: The training will explore the foundations for good implementation, including creating a conducive climate. Participants will learn how to:
- identify key priorities
- explore feasibility
- develop clear plans for change including impact evaluation
- consider the implications of leading staff and students through change in school.
Impact: Participants will have the knowledge and strategies necessary to explore, prepare, deliver and measure impact of an identified focus for improvement of outcomes in their session.
