Understanding educational effectiveness and equality in England’s rural and coastal communities
This project will produce a much-needed survey of the socio-economic character and function of state of secondary schooling in Lincolnshire. It will provide a foundation upon which the new School of Education and its partners can develop research projects, practical interventions and courses that are appropriately framed for the specific contexts in which we work. We will disseminate the analysis through a published report for educators, schools and policymakers, and organise a public conference to facilitate wider academic and professional discussion. The project also concretises a new research partnership between the School of Education and colleagues based in secondary schools. (The full application may be downloaded at the bottom of this page).
